Hi to all friends in TSW, with lockdown and social distancing and inclement weather club runs are few and far between. So with trepidation as Saturdays weather was horrific we decided to take a chance and go for a run to Builth Wells on the Sunday, the day started well with good weather and the meeting point was at McDonalds in Treforest where we met up with Paul & Dotty, Bernard & Jack, Mike & Heather (the mafia) and last but on least Paul (tut) & Gerard 5 cars in all.
Sun shining with blue skies we left Treforest and headed on to Merthyr Tydil and Storey Arms to see if any other club members were to join the convoy. There was a photo opportunity of the cars with Pen-yr-Fan in the backround, onwards to Builth via Brecon and scenic winding roads. Arriving in Builth Wells we found the car park by the river, with a brisk walk around the town, where we came across a local hostiliary with a beer garden where we stopped for food and drink with good company and good chatting.
Time past and few of the gang decided to go for a stroll by the river which was enjoyable in the sunshine, a few hours later and we departed the town of Builth and made the journey home and a good day was had by all.
See you all soon
Tim & Barbara
